He's seriously awesome, and so were the rest of the Editors that came in to chat.
{I snagged this photo from Bryn's awesome recap post. PS LOVE her.}
And there were plenty of opportunities for socializing with blog friends...
A couple of shots from the Joss & Main and Design TV party.
{Me, Christine from Bijou and Boheme, and Amanda}
{Chanee from Melongings, Amanda, Amanda, Me, Janell from House of Fifty and Isabella & Max, and Bryn}
I can't believe the lack of photos I took with everyone, but I also got to see Traci Zeller, Sue from The Zhush, Jen of Made By Girl, Erin of Elements of Style, Amy of Plain and Fancy Living, Amy of Eye See Pretty, Meredith Heron, Beth from Hello Splendor and soooo many others.
Beth Greene really did an amazing job putting together the whole event. She's quite a looker too! The lineup they brought to us was fantastic. We were able to tour the Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House.
{Another photo snagged from Bryn, she brough her big camera and got lots of good ones.}
Had a beautiful lunch in the Hearst building. There were peonies everywhere. Good move. Bloggers love peonies.
We had tea with Barbara Barry in the Kravet Showroom.
And check out Amanda's cute twisted buns updo.
We also got to meet amazing designers like Thomas O'Brien, Suzanne Kasler, Eric Cohler, David Easton... and they signed our Inspired Styles book that we were all given.
{Photo snagged from Janell of her and Thomas O'Brien}
The AMAZING Margaret Russell, formally of Elle Decor and the new Editor in Chief at Architectural Digest. I was in awe of her. We all were. This picture is awful, but it's all I have.
Margaret was also gracious enough to pose for group pictures. I sadly had to abandon ship for this one though b/c bloggers can be aggresive and I didn't want to be trampled!
We also toured Kravet's Design Studio. This was pretty cool to get the scoop on their fabrics.
And Blogfest ended with a "Sweet Ending" party with surprise guest Thom Filicia.
Oh, and for those of you who like this stuff, I stayed at the Ace Hotel and it was fantastic. Would I stay there with my husband? Probably not. But it was the perfect venue for this trip.
There you have it. Blogfest was an opportunity that I'm so thankful I was offered. Thank you so much to everyone involved for creating such an lovely experience!
