What I'm Wearing: China Print

There's little that I love more than a good, versatile swing dress. I can throw on one first thing in the morning when seeking sheer comfort, and it can take me through the rest of the day looking put together. This china print swing dress doesn't break the bank either, which is an obvious plus.

Jane Pope sent me this sterling silver mommy necklace back in December and it's one of my most treasured pieces. One disk is engraved "Lilly" and the other is engraved "Fletcher". I love.

I wasn't lying last week when I said I'm all about blue and white in the summer. Now, where's my chartreuse?!

Foodie Crush

I have a new food blog crush. And it's appropriately named, Foodie Crush.

I realize Heidi's blog isn't exactly "new" as she has pretty much made it all and even has a magazine. But she's new to me. Much to my husband's surprise, apparently I haven't covered all corners of the internet.

Or, have I finally? Either way, I'm so glad I found her.

Alright, I'll stop with the grilled cheeses. Guess it's obvious where my heart lies...

Food. It's what's for dinner. Make what she's making.

My Girl

This girl has started dressing herself. Some days I dig it more than others. This is one of those days...

There's just something so amazing about watching a little girl blossom. Life's good.

PS, thanks for the heads up that the bandana skirt was mis-linked yesterday. So sorry about that, but it's fixed now. I love that skirt so much.

Blue + White + Citron

Shades of blue and light neutrals are pretty much a summer uniform around here, and this summer I'm throwing some citron into the mix, too. It just feels natural.

tory burch bikini (25% off w/ code "TBSPRING")
clare vivier clutch (all time have)
madewell sleeveless chambray top (closet necessity? i think so)

Thanks for all the love this week. You guys make writing a blog so easy and rewarding. Really.

I have a ton to do this weekend, including taking Lilly to her first musical at the Dock Street Theater. Should be fun :) Happy Friday!

What I'm Wearing: MSGM & Lizzie

You're going to see a lot more street style here on Look Linger Love. I've partnered up with my photographer gal pal Gray Benko to bring you more posts where I actually show you what I'm wearing and how I'm wearing it as opposed to only telling you about it. This is good news for those of you who care. For those of you who don't, I'm sorry. But I'm certain we'll get some pretty scenery in the background of some shots, because this is Charleston after all, so there's that :)

I'm not a model. And I'm not trying to be. So you will probably see a lot of "what the...?" pictures, too. Because I plan to have fun with this and not take myself so seriously.

Moving forward. Let's start this off right with my favorite skirt in my closet, my new MSGM panther skirt. I wore this in Dallas with the girls this past weekend and had so much fun in it. I just really like a good, quirky piece that you can dress up or down. It's fun with a printed top or with a sleeveless chambray shirt. MSGM's spring collection is pretty much my favorite right now.

MSGM skirt, gifted iris & ink top from the Outnet, lizzie fortunato clutch (i like this lf clutch too),

Like I said, there will be some weird photos... Was I, like, about to sneeze or something?

If you like the panther print check out the cross back dress and the sleeveless top!

My Guest Style Editor Picks At Hampden Clothing

I am so so so so happy to tell y'all about the collaboration I had with Hampden Clothing as their very first guest style editor.

If you haven't been to Hampden's site in awhile then get ready to be blown away because it's all sorts of pretty and fun to look at. I especially love their "magazine" feature full of party pictures, behind the scenes gossip, fashion features, and designer interviews.

Charleston is incredibly lucky to have Hampden Clothing located right downtown, so I was able to stop in to hang with the owner, Stacy Smallwood, while taking my time choosing my favorite Hampden picks. One of these favorites is this amazing Current/Elliott & Mary Katrantzou collaboration shift dress. How fun is the print?

And naturally I had to mix Hampden's two brightest pieces together. I think the Malene Birger lace top pairs perfectly with this Timo Weiland skirt.

And of course the Tucker and Loeffler Randall shoe collaboration of floral loveliness that can go with pretty much anything.

These hardly even scratch the surface. Go check out all of my 12 favorite Hampden picks right here. And there's also a fun little LLL + Hampden q&a that I took part of where I admit that I would forget underwear before I'd forget my iphone. You know, just keeping it classy one day at a time. But really, I dish on my favorite Charleston restaurants, who's closet I want to move into... It's fun stuff.

Why I Love Saturday

What's this? Two posts in one day? You know this must be good then...

And when I say I love Saturday, I'm not talking about the day of the week. I'm talking about Kate Spade's long awaited new company, Saturday. It's so unbelievably good, y'all.

The prices are decent for sure compared to their mother brand. And if you like a print or pattern then you're in luck b/c there is likely a skirt, dress, top, short, and bag all made in that print too (matching top and short combo anyone?). Likewise, if you fancy a particular dress, or top or whatever, then you can buy a bunch b/c it's likely offered in a ton of different colors. I like brands like this. Just makes shopping and dressing sooo easy.

If you're a shopping addict then the dresses below are like a dream come true. Two-fer anyone?? Yes, the skirt is detachable!! Oh the possibilities and many color options.

And I'm mildly obsessed with the long shirttail dress below. I could live in those.

Welp, Kate Spade does it again! So go on and get exploring Saturday's entire collection.

And heads up to my local Charleston readers - I'm co-hosting another event with Kate Spade New York on May 11th in honor of Mother's Day. More details to come but go ahead and mark it in your calendar! Will be such fun. Remember the last one?

Dallas Trip

So Dallas was pretty much amazing. First of all I had no idea that it is as pretty as it is!! But what really made it so great was hanging out with so many of my wonderful and inspiring blog girlfriends. We spend so much of our time online that's is just indescribable to get to spend quality face to face time with these girls. Alex, Liz, Julia, Hanna, Molly & Sally, Bradley, Gaby, Jamie, Amber (who is my long lost momma soul mate), Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Albertina, and Carly (whew!) were my homegirls all weekend long. I could really go on and on.

Here's a pic of me and my roomies Alex and Liz. Pattern overload. I'm wearing this floral top and Rebecca Taylor polka dot shorts.

I'm so thankful that Rewardstyle brought us all together. And as you can imagine with the group of fashion bloggers like we had, the people watching was pretty great. Here are a few things I saw...

Like I said, it was great people watching. Happy Tuesday!

Pot Luck On The Porch - Style Challenge Feature

I'm so excited to finally share the images of the ladies pot luck luncheon that I hosted on my front porch  a few weeks back.

So when I was brainstorming fun ways to share the space that I created for the Home Depot blogger Style Challenge, it seemed pretty much a given to throw a girly get together centered around food, champagne, and good friends. Because, you know, I love to entertain my home girls, eat, and drink a lot of champagne. And my new Hampton Bay Edington dining set from Home Depot really helps me do all of these awesome things. Shout out to my Home Depot peeps!!

** Tell me you don't now need a picnic basket and champagne tote?!! **

Get the tabletop look:

I would love it if you would head over to see my "Classically Chic" feature on Home Depot's site to see all the pictures and hear more about the collaboration!!

These pretty images are by Gray Benko Photography. Thanks Gray!

It's The Weekend - I'm Off!

Dear Friday,

I'm so glad you're here. It's been a long and emotional week. And I'm ready to escape. So I'm off to Dallas for a quick trip with some bloggy friends. I would love for you to follow along on my instagram feed.

PS - there was a big response to the bedding post I shared last week about upgrading your bedding in steps when you can. I thought that many of you would like to know that Serena & Lily is offering 25% off all bedding right now. That's, like, huge. Have you played with their bedding builder tool? Such fun to layer all the different pieces together! I just put together this one in like 3 minutes.

I still want to tweak it, but really liking so far. Go mix and play! Just remember, you don't have to buy up every piece all at once!
