A Bit About Bloggy "Bidness" + A Winner

Let's talk a little bloggy housekeeping, can we?  I'm well aware that we're seeing my sponsor posts left and right here on LLL.  It's a lot.  But I want you to know that I love my sponsors.  If you see them on here, it's because I love them, not because I'm really hard up for a few bucks.  I turn down a lot of advertiser requests.  Really.  And I've also returned products that I've been given to review if I don't think they're awesome and don't feel I should share here on the blog or my facebook or twitter (oh yes I have).  (Oh and I always disclose if something was gifted.)  Whew.  It's just important to me that ya'll know this.  I really want to show each of my advertisers love every month b/c I just don't think that an ad alone in the left section does them justice.  Down the road things may need to change, not sure how, but maybe I'll have to combine a few sponsors into one post.  What do you all think of that?

The main thing I want ya'll to know is that I'm writing about things that I really want to share... not just because I may or may not be making some money off of a particular post or product.  Making a few bucks is just kind of like a sweet perk.  I started this blog for fun, and that's why I still write it today.  I never want you to think that I'm motivated by anything other than this.

I also want to thank each of you who support my sponsors.  They're all fantastic, awesome people who I now consider to be friends.  And it makes me so happy when I see someone around town or get an email from a reader who tells me that they purchased something from one of my sponsors and LOVE it.  Makes my day.  You all are really the best.  This little blog space of mine makes me so happy.  And just in case you ever doubted it:

I love ya'll

"For Like Ever" signs available here.  And for the record, they are not a sponsor.  In fact, they even ignored a message I sent them. But that's okay I suppose.  I mean, who do I think I am? A Royal Bloggess?  It is a fun take on the popular but perhaps over-used poster though, right?

And now let's announce the name of the winner of one of my most awesome sponsors' giveaway!!

Stephanie from A Dash of Glam, you won the $75 Stella & Dot gift certificate.
You lucky girl you :)  Email Annette at hello@baublesbash.com and she'll hook you up.

Enjoy your weekends!

I think it all comes down to integrity. And that shows. I just turned down the opportunity to have a giveaway on the blog (can you believe it? on my blog?) just because the product wasn't my style and I firmly believe that my blog is an extension of me, so I rather keep it very me and have just a handful of followers than sell myself, right?
Hope you had a great weekend!

I love all your posts, but it's extra nice to know that you blog for fun and not for money :) I feel like your sponsor posts always feel genuine, and that there are enough non-sponsor posts that it's not overwhelming. So keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep reading!

I totally love that you posted this. I believe that it is important to be true to yourself and your blog. I do click on your sponsors to see what products or services they offer. :)
