That Would Be Me

At the 12 am, 2 am, 4 am, 6 am, and 8 am feedings with Fletcher.

Or some equally glam version of that.

I won't lie to you. It's been really hard the last 2 months, with this last week being no exception.  We've all been sick (still are), Lilly is starting to show jealousy (can't blame her for that), and Fletcher nurses every 2 hours on average.  I'm exhausted.  I need the long break that I dream of that isn't going to happen anytime soon.  I'm thankful to have this little space to keep me feeling glittery and shiny even when I'm still sitting in my pjs doing the momma thang.  God bless ya'll for giving me that.

Here's hoping for a long nap this weekend.  Happy Friday, Everyone!

Ironically I started my blog during a late night nursing session with my second born. Thinking of you and know that it will get easier :) I hope you all get feeling better quickly.

I can only imagine how tough the first few months are...especially when you have more than one. I am glad blogging feels refreshing to you during this time. I certainly enjoy seeing the pretty things you have in store for us. :) Hoping that you get some rest and relaxation this weekend--and that everyone starts feeling better.

Oh dear!!! If it's any consolation Matthew was a swiss watch, every 3 hours (from the moment he started feeding) and each feeding took like 45 min. There was one time that he got me down for 2 hours!! I so feel for you, I know is hard! Hang in there, I'm sure it will get better soon! Hope you get your well deserved nap ;)

Ugh! I remember all to well. The nursing not easy but sooooooo worth it! Liquid gold. I consider it my biggest accomplishment in life. Big hugs, you are not alone. It is just a phase.

I'm hating how much I relate friend! Tag's been generous and pushing it closer to 2.5-3 hours in between feedings. Of course that doesn't include the "start to start" timing of feedings. Uggh. Just think how awesome this summer will be when those sweet boys are SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! That precious sleep will be back in your life in no time. I begged Matthew to go feed him a bottle at 4am today because I just couldn't get up to do it. Hope y'all all start feeling better soon!

Oh. So so so sorry. Listen to your favorite work-out play list, go to the virtual MOMA and drink sparkling wine from a can and remember the days that you wished you could stay home in your PJs. Love to you from the cyber-world of people that don't know you at all, but wish you the very very very best!

Oh my...I do not want to relive those days! Poor thing. Here's hoping you get that nap this weekend.

OK I am so glad that I just read this post, I am a new Momma of a 10 month old boy and I am constantly saying to myself " How do all these other Mom's do it?" My son is also sick and reading this just made my entire week! Glad to know I am not alone, hang in there!!

Baby boot camp. Awe, hang in there doll. It's painful. . . but fleeting. I remember nursing in the middle of the night thinking, "God, this is amazing and tender and wonderful . . .and when the hell is it going to end!?"

I understand your frustration completely! I was there about 6 weeks ago. Once my son got a little older and went about 3 hours for a feeding, I started doing pumps in between feedings. After a day or two, my production was up and I was able to store some. After a couple of days, I had enough stock that I was able to have a "me" day while my hubs kept him! It was wonderful- I got some shopping done, took a LONG nap, cooked a great meal. It was wonderful and recharged me!

Chassity, you have every right to feel exhausted! Breastfeeding is hard work, kudos to you for still going...I tend to stop around the 6-8 week mark...and mine both nursed like crazy when they did nurse...so I feel you. It's a lot. I'm just proud I still have Breckin in cloth diapers! Ha! Anyway, blogging for you is what it is to me as well...a place to escape the hectic and just enjoy the beautiful things in life and the hobbies I adore. Sending well wishes your way...my boys were sick this past week too. www.justhadabrightidea.blogspot.com

Oh girl, hang in there! You are doing an awesome job. I used to curse my hubby's name while he snored away next to me in bed during all those middle of the night feedings and then complain in the morning how tired he was! :) ha:)
