So, it was agony waiting the 24 hour initial charging period when I first received it. But after that it has 20 minutes of use before it needs to be charged again (so you don't have yet another device plugged in on your vanity). It takes only 1 minute to do it's thing (that may seem like a long time but I swear it flies by). It's small so it takes up little space. And well, it just freaking works. You do need to replace the brushes every 4 months or so (I think they're about $20 each) which is a little bit of an inconvenience but so worth it to take good care of your skin.
So, I'm a believer in the Clarisonic. And I highly recommend it to you all (heck, some of you could even ask for it for Mother's Day!). Do any of you have one? What do you think??
*Note, I have the Clarisonic Mia (the smallest size) and it retails for $119. The prices go up from there.
But honestly, the Mia is just fine for me. There are also a lot of different colors, models, brush heads, accessories... too. And to my Clarisonic peeps, thanks for allowing me to review your product! Ya'll are awesome!

such fun! How often do you need to buy new parts/cleaning pads for it? I'm in need of something new. Two babes plus turning 30 has not been kind to my face!
I received the Mia for Christmas and I LOVE it too. I found that using it 2x a day was too much for me, so I wash at night just with my hands and do the Mia in the morning in a hot steamy shower. That method was recommended to me by an aesthetician friend.
such a good and informative review and i appreciate the info about the price and such too...i've been wanting to try one out, but didn't know if it was worth the investment-thanks lady!
We purchased one for our oldest daughter a few years back. She loves it! I really should get one for myself. Hope you are doing well. It's been crazy here the past couple months preparing for our youngest's graduation.
ok. I was on the fence and this might push me over the edge. I want one!
I love mine too, but my dermatologist gave me a warning recently that you should only be using it a couple days a week because it can actually take off the top layer of your skin if you use it too often. If your skin isn't bothering you from using it two times a day, you are probably fine, but figured I'd put it out there!
I've been considering this as a present for my mom for her birthday this summer, and now I'm sold. I'm definitely going to do it! I think she'd love it! Thanks for the review.
I have the hot pink clarisonic mia and I LOVE it! I have been so happy with mine too - and you are totally right- your skin feels cleaner than it ever has before - the only time my skin felt so soft is after a facial - so this is so nice to have that feeling daily! Great review!
You sold me again- NEED this.
I have the Mia too, and definitely like it. It's amazing how fast that one minute goes by isn't it!? I love how I can see my products sinking in better after I use it!
I've been so back and forth with wanting one, mostly from mixed reviews from girlfriends.....maybe it's not too late to add it to my mothers day wish list. Thank you for sharing!!
Xx. Patience
I've used my Mia for almost a year...and I LOVE IT! I have sensitive skin, so I only use it once a day with Cetaphil liquid cleanser. It's a treat to use each morning and I can totally tell a difference on the days that I don't use it. I actually took my Mia with me on our 10-day trip to Europe because I couldn't be without it for that many days! ;)
I've been using the Neutrogena version (which is a lot cheaper...), but dang girl, you make a girl want to trade up! I'm with you, I've heard nothing but rave reviews!
Ahh the Clarisonic Mia has been on my wish list for awhile now, it sounds amazing! xoxo
ok ok ok!! Thanks, I wish I could get it right now, I'll wait until we get back home and get it! ;)
Funny my kids bought me one for mothers day, they are giving it to me on Sunday but they had to ask me if I had one...I am so excited!
I pulled the trigger on my Mia a few months ago and I can definitely tell a difference in my complexion! Just be careful not to press down too hard when you're using it because that can lead to break outs and irritation!
