New In Hang This Wear That

Did you all have a great weekend? I sure did. But I left my phone out in the rain Saturday afternoon and it's still not working. Damn. I miss it. A whole lot.

Anyway, I've been painting the last few weeks and finally have some complete. Last night I added 9 new pieces to my art shop.

You'll need to head over to check 'em. Hope your week is off to a great start. Fingers crossed my phone turns on for me today.

Oh no for wet phones!! Have u put it in a bag of rice yet? That seems to work for all of my teenage students who drop theirs in the sink, toilet, rain, etc!

Hi, I have been reading your blog for a while now and I have to say, while your art is cute and fun, it is in no way deserving of the price tag you put on it. You have even stated that you just started painting a few months ago after meeting Sally Benedict King and now are trying to be a "paid artist". It just doesn't make sense. Congrats to you on whatever you DO manage to sell, but it is insulting to real artists that have raw talent and can paint lifelike things. That is great talent. The sort of abstract you do could be done by a Kindergartener. I doubt you spend much time on these pieces.

I love your backsplash :) We just installed granite and are still in the process of choosing the right backsplash for the space...can't wait to have it done! Cute pieces - hope your store is doing well! xoxo

Your artwork is so full of life! Love love love your backsplash! And your closet is ridic - loving the industrial vibe mixed with that crystal chandy!

BTW - One of my favorite vintage treasures is an old Art History textbook - I've read and re-read it many times - the very first line in the book says this - There really is no such thing as Art. There are only artists. - -- You, my dear, are an artist!
