With Father's Day, 4th of July, and all those endless summer nights right around the corner, I've been brainstorming fun outdoor ideas that are family friendly. Naturally eating came to mind. Because, duh. Chances are that Josh will be happiest at the grill, so for this exercise I will focus my efforts on the dessert.
(for a pretty tablescape, consider setting it up right on the lawn)
(easy clean-up and cute presentation)
(how clever!)
(because sometimes all you want is a cookie)
(i want to pop popcorn over a camp fire tooooo)
(for those of us who prefer to drink our dessert)
(for after dinner star gazing and story telling)
*i'm just looking for a reason to buy myself that sleeping bag*
Everything tastes better under the stars, right?

I'm in love with that sleeping bag!!
Any animal that is winking at me, I must have...the ceramic snow cones are a great idea!
Best!

How precious are those ceramic ice cream cones. But I'm a dessert drinker, as well!
That sleeping bag has been calling my name ever since I spotted it on the Anthro site...but I need a reason to buy it too! I mean let's be honest, the likelihood of me camping/needing a sleeping bag is pretty slim! Unless we can count the backyard!
yup, looks perfect to me
I need the tassel bottle opener and pom pom lanterns in my life... like now.

Those cookies need to get in my belly right this instant! And they would taste even better coming out of that adorable cookie jar :)
That ice cream holder is completely genius and adorable! Love me some s'more cookies - I have made these upwards of 50 times and they are my favorite: http://crepesofwrath.net/2008/08/21/smore-cookie-bars/ Outdoor entraining is the best - so easy!!!
