Throw some cool paper in a frame and you have a unique dessert tray. Love it. Idea (and tutorial) found via Ruffled Blog.

A Hostess Gift Idea + A Guest Post

I've been eyeing these little paper mache bowls for awhile now.  They're only $10, and I think they would be THE perfect little container for filling with holiday goodies and hostess gifts that the recipient will really want to keep and cherish.

I've paired them with these incredible oreo brownies.  How do I know these brownies are incredible?  Because my good friend and fellow blogger Natalie from Designer Bags and Diaper Bags brought them to me - and yep, they're incredible.  She's sharing the recipe here!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, I'm over at Mimi + Meg sharing my holiday tradition & wishlist.  Be sure to pop over and check it out.  While you're there, go ahead and click "follow" because I assure you that Meg's blog will be one of your favorites if it isn't already.  Promise.
A Little Maternity Styling
Last week the girls at Hampden Clothing (one of my favorite downtown Charleston shops) asked me to come in and style some bump friendly outfits.   Since I come from the camp that subscribes to buying as little actual maternity clothes as possible, I was happy to stop in and play.
 We put together 7 "Wear Your Baby Bump Well" looks in total that Hampden is sharing over on their blog.  Outfits range from a playdate in the park, a doctor's visit (b/c any woman who has been pregnant knows it's important to dress lightly for that scale!), to a date night.  They even included shopping clickables for everything you see me wearing in the photos.
And the girls at Hampden were sweet enough to give me a very generous gift certificate to do a little shopping.  I came home with this Opening Ceremony Bow Plaid top.  Love it!  I'll definitely be able to wear this after baby boy arrives too.
So if you'd like to see more of the styling session, visit Hampden's Blog.
Thanks girls!
Some Really Good Artists
Pop on over to Made By Girl!  Jen asked me to fill in for her for the day while she parties/shops/eats it up in NYC this week.  And since everyone and their Great Auntie Edna reads Made By Girl, I'm assuming you've already seen it.  But just in case, I'm sharing who my favorite 6 artists are, and trust me, they will ROCK YOUR WORLD (and are all at varying price points!).  So go see!!
A Regency Gentleman Nursery By Amber Interiors
Allow me to introduce you to the first design blogger to contribute to the Nursery Design Series, Amber of Amber Interior Design.  Her sassiness and style rock my socks off on a daily basis.  And so does this nursery design that she so generously created for my little mister.  See for yourselves... Amber is a genious.
Well hello there Look Linger Lovers!  Amber here from Amber Interiors ze blog.  Since our lovely Mrs. Chassity is preggo with a little dude, I was elated when she asked me to do my best at creating an inspiration board for the tiny man.
When creating this room I decided to go with a "chinoiserie, regency, moody, eclectic, dude" inspired room. Nothing but the best for Chassity and her baby bundle.
To be honest, I could move into this room myself, crib and all!!
Thanks again Lovers!  Hop on over and visit me sometime....
Told you she was amazing.  Thank you so much, Amber, for creating this haven.  I could spend hours in there and be happy as could be!  Be sure to visit Amber's blog if it isn't already on your daily list, because it should be!
My Favorite Everything
I'm really bad and still haven't had the chance to write up my trip recap.  Don't hate me.  But I do have something else fun to share with you.  If you haven't seen it yet, yesterday Traci Zeller featured me and all of my favorites on her fabulous blog.  I adore Traci, met her in NYC for the blogger Nate Show just two weeks after I began mine.  She so graciously took me under her wing and we've been buddies ever since.
So please head over there and check out the post.  I'm sharing my favorite things- lots of fun topics like stationary, kitchen gadgets, comfort food, soap, towels...  This wasn't included in the feature, but for added fun, my current favorite hair products are Moroccan Oil.  They Smell So Good!
Thanks for having me, Traci!
A Few Fun Things
I have a few fun things to share today.  So let's jump right in, shall we?
Today I'll be attending a luncheon in honor of Gaby Basora, the designer behind Tucker, at Hampden Clothing.  I feel ridic fortunate to have been invited.  You all know my love for Tucker's collections (as seen wearing it here at Charleston Fashion Week), so I'm beyond thrilled to get to meet Gaby in person today!
If you're in Charleston, stop by Hampden Clothing on King St. today from 2 - 7pm for the Tucker Trunk Show with items designed exclusively for Hampden!!
Next up on the list... I broke down and ordered it...
Yep, I decided this red Clare Vivier clutch had to be mine.  And guess what...
Michelle at Pretty Mommy Shop is giving all of my readers
15% off any order
good through Sunday night, April 24th.
Just enter "LLL" when you check out.
So you can have one too :)  Michelle carries Clare Vivier, Lizzie Fortunato, Ace & Jig, Laura Lombardi and more.  (Psst, there is also a 25% off $150 or more over at her shop!)
Lastly, yesterday I vistied my girl Michelle over at Ten June and participated in her "Genie Series".  Admittedly, looking up Italian properties was tempting, but I knew I'd waste too much time dreaming.  I think you'll like what I came up with anyway.  Here's just a little glimpse.
Go check it out!  Pretty please :)
And stay awhile, because Sara's blog is filled with all sorts of gorgeousness.  She also just moved to South America with her family, and I know I sure don't want to miss the tidbits she shares of her journey.  xoxo, happy Friday!
Cupcake Magazine Interview
If you follow me on facebook or twitter then you might have already seen, but the awesome girls over at CupcakeMag just shared a little feature on me.  I was absolutely humbled when Casi contacted me and said they wanted to introduce me to their readers.  Me?  They surely know I'm nothing special, just a momma who blogs.  But these girls have it going on, so I was happy to oblige.
So if you please, head on over to check out the interview.  Or maybe you're sick of me and you're yawning at the thought of it. That's okay too, but still head over to CupcakeMag anyway and check out their fabulous site.  Besides the great fashion and entertaining posts, they also have a list of celebrity interviews that you do not want to miss, with the likes of Tori Spelling and Denise Richards, to name a few.  So, see you there.
