Summer Obsession
I'm mildly obsessed with these silk tees by Rachel Rose. Light, airy, gorgeous. Each tee is hand painted and one of a kind.

Alesya Bags
I'm THRILLED today. You know why? Because I finally get to share my friend Alesya Opelt's new laptop bag line. Alesya's Bags has been a long time coming. What started as disappointment at seeing women's outfits repeatedly ruined by bulky and boring laptop bags has turned Alesya into the fashionable designer of these gorgeous laptop bags you get to see here today.
Currently there are three colors available: Eggplant, Equestrian Tan, and Kelly Girl Green. These bags fit up to a 15" laptop, any tablet or e-reader. The best part? They look like a handbag, but function like a laptop bag. Hallelujah.
With Alesya's bag launch she's hoping to inspire other female entrepreneurs to start great businesses. That's why she reveals everything she can on her blog, to show other women how she does it so they can do it too. I'm so proud of her! Women helping women. That's what it's all about, right?!
The Alesya Bags shopping site just went live at midnight, so GO GO GO. These babies are about to blow up big time, but you know you heard it here first. :)

In My Kitchen
The adorable Helena of A Diary of Lovely invited me over to talk about one of my favorite topics - all things kitchen. I'm a long time reader of her blog (super cute with lots of great style!), and was happy to stop by for a visit.
So head over to check it out. You'll also find my favorite recipe!Glitter Guide
A couple of months ago I was contacted by the Glitter Guide team for a feature on their new site. Um, absolutely. We threw a few different ideas around for what the feature should be, and in the end I decided I should do what I do best... SHOP. We had a blast during the photoshoot! It should go live in the next few weeks. In the meantime, we can all get our sparkle on with all of their glitzy stories.
A few highlights from the site...

And how great would this dress be for throwing over a swimsuit?!
Major heads up - Kokoon's gearing up for their first ever online sale and clearance boutique. It will launch early July. I'll be sure to give ya'll a heads up when it's online!
Upcoming Trip - San Diego
Happy Monday, Everyone. Did you all have a great weekend? Mine was wonderful. Went to a Riverdogs (our local minor league) baseball game Friday night. Got to see a lot of friends at a wedding shower on Saturday, and hung out in the pool on Sunday. Sadly, no beach this weekend. I win "Mom of the Year" because on Thursday night I gave Lilly a bubble bath that gave her a rash, so we didn't want to push it by going in the ocean.
Anyway, the point of this post is to gather some information. We're heading to San Diego this summer with my side of the family. I've been once, but it was years ago and really was just to see Lilith Fair (Do you all remember that concert series? Was so fun!). So this time it'll be much different. There's about 30 of us in all going. Thanks to my grandparents we go somewhere every year. We've done Hawaii 4 times (Maui & Kauai = bliss), a Mediterranean cruise (major dreamy), an Alaskan cruise (beautiful, but don't need to go again til I'm 50+), and Grand Cayman (Great time but don't need to go back). We all decided we didn't want to travel as far this time, and San Diego won out.
So tell me, what are the must do's in San Diego? We plan to take Lilly to the zoo and to Sea World, but think we'll skip Lego Land since she's so young. Any great restaurant suggestions? Where do I need to go to shop? And fyi, these places don't need to be for 30 people, everyone is free to do their own thing on these vacays. We'll also be getting a babysitter some of the time too. We have a few restaurants in mind, but I'd love to hear what you all have to say. Oh, we're also going to see a Padres game while we're there.
We're staying at the Grand Del Mar. Looks dreamy.

And any tips for traveling with a toddler would be much appreciated. We've traveled with Lilly a lot, but not cross country.
I'm super pumped to see my family. Living in Charleston I'm the furthest from everyone (they're all in Kentucky, Indiana, and Nashville). One of my favorite things is when all of my cousins get together.
{Last year in Hawaii. We may have ended up singing Karaoke later that night!}
And seeing new sights. I'm 5 months pregnant here, Lilly's holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We also went to the beach right after this, hence the outfit...
And of course getting a whole week with Josh.
{In Maui}
Yep, I start looking forward to these trips the day we get back from the last one. I feel so incredibly fortunate to get to spend a week with my whole family like this. And while San Diego may not seem as "glamorous" as some of our other destinations, I know it'll be great. So help me out, where should we go??

Caitlin Wilson Interview
You know how there are women out there who seem to constantly inspire and amaze you? It's a rare kind. And that's why they're special. I often refer to them as my girl crushes. And today I get to introduce you to one of mine. You may already know her, but I'm betting you'll learn something new about her here today.
LLL: Let's pretend we're going on a trip to Paris... What do you want to do first?
Caitlin: I'd go get a warm pain au chocolat and and then hit the flea market! {I spent a spring term in college in Paris and I ate a croissant for breakfast and a crepe every afternoon- let's just say it's a good thing I don't live in Paris!}
LLL: Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Caitlin: Shoes, handbags, sunglasses...but I intentionally collect cake stands.
LLL: What is your greatest extravagance?
Caitlin: A painting that my husband surprised me with for my daughter Olivia's room.
LLL: Willing to divulge any favorite shopping resources when decorating?
Caitlin: If you're looking for cute books for your bookshelves- there's an old readers digest collection with darling patterned covers that can often be found at thrift stores.
LLL: We're out to dinner. What do you order?
Caitlin: Something sinful...I try to eat healthy at home so when we go out, I splurge! A burger or steak and I always indulge in dessert! Chocolate anything will do!
LLL: You have a new fabric line in the works! What can you share?
Caitlin: My new fabric line is inspired by the places that we've lived in the last 2 years- the Middle East and Asia. Many of the patterns are classic geometrics that we all love- trellis, fretwork, chevron- but I've added a new twist. One of my main reasons for wanting to create my own fabric line was to offer color ways that I love and feel are missing from the market. You'll see corals, aquas, berry pinks, greys, and gold. The crowning pattern is my hand drawn floral reminiscent of Chinese flowers and foliage. I designed the collection so all of the fabrics can work together. You choose your favorite- and I'll show you 2 other pillows to put with it to create a perfect combination. I will be selling readymade pillow covers in a variety of sizes as well as fabric by the yard. This has been such an exciting venture, I can't tell you how excited I am for the launch on September 1st!
Caitlin: I appreciate all different styles so I try not to hate on anything...but I guess if I have to I'd say I'm a bit over the suzani look. I love authentic, antique suzanis- like I used in a project in Dubai...but I think the fabrics have been overdone.
LLL: On your blog you've shared that you've had clothing custom made. Could you tell us a little about the process?
Caitlin: In Dubai, it was so incredibly cheap to have clothes made...it's a common thing to do but I guess you could say I got carried away with it. The great thing about custom made clothes is that you can accentuate the good things about your figure and hide the bad. So under all those high waisted skirts and trousers with bows- I'm hiding my mummy tummy! I think that's probably the things about living abroad that I will miss the most...an affordable luxury!

Thank you so much for stopping by, Caitlin. As we say here in the south, you're quite the gem! And I hope you all go visit Caitlin's wonderful blog, Style Files. She's one to watch.
Caitlin Wilson is a triple threat kind of gal. Once you get past the effortless good looks, you find that she's an insanely talented interior designer, inspiring mother, and expert of living life beautifully. I've been following her blog for quite a long time now (and have learned a lot!). So I knew I needed to share a little "Caitlin charm" here on my blog for you too. Of course, to have the chance to ask her any question that I wanted was a bonus too :)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
