Ham Delights

There are only a few things that I make in the kitchen that are fabulous.  These ham delights are fabulous.  To further persuade you, I got this recipe a few years ago from my brother and sister in law who just so happen to own my favorite restaurant {shout out to the Mill House!}.  They know good food.  You've likely seen (or even made) a version of these sandwiches before.  I assure you these are worth trying.  They get requested for every party.

Ham Delights
Ingredients:
2 dozen King Hawaiian bread rolls
3/4 lb American cheese
1 lb Shaved ham
1.5 Tbsp Poppy seeds
1 Stick Butter
2 Tbsp Dried Onion
1.5 tsp Worstershire Sauce

Slice the rolls in half.

Line up the roll bottoms on a cookie sheet and then top each with ham and then cheese.

Next, combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.

Spoon a little of the mixture on top of each slice of cheese.

Now place the tops on each sandwich and spread more of the butter mixture on top of each.

Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes (just until cheese melts) aaaaand eat.

Welcome New Sponsor - Pretty Mommy Shop

Please help me welcome my new sponsor, Pretty Mommy.  I'm so thrilled to have Michelle's shop here on the blog b/c it is one of my favorite shopping destinations.  She carries some of my most favorite labels like Ace & Jig, Clare Vivier, John Robshaw, Dream Collective, Scout & Catalogue, Lizzie Fortunato, and Laura Lombardi.  Yeah, it's an amazing collection of fabulous finds.  Michelle knows what she's doing.  She used to work as a buyer for small designer boutiques, but has since had children and decided to open up a shop of her own - lucky for us all.

{Scarf (I must have this!), Skirts, Clutch (I have this and LOVE), Necklace}

 {Caftan}

{Dress (I have two of these and adore them), and Shower Curtain}

Please help me welcome Pretty Mommy and go visit her shop.  It is the definition of chic!

Thank You

Since beginning my blog in September I've made countless friends and have had some wonderful experiences.  But nothing has been as wonderous as the response to Amanda's story that I posted on Wednesday.  The number of prayers, comments, and emails that we received was absolutely incredible.  SO many of you shared the link on your facebook and twitter pages.  It was pure joy to see the love spread.  I was astonished at how many strangers reached out to help by contacting medical professionals in their area or by simply sharing their own stories.  I will be forever grateful to you all.  Please know that your messages have provided comfort to Amanda and her family.
I also want to thank some of my blogger friends who in an effort to gather more knowledge and prayers generously shared Amanda's story on their own blogs.  Thank you so much to these blog authors:

Just click the images to be taken to their blog posts.

I believe that love and the power of prayer can overcome anything.  Thank you for believing in it too.

If you posted Amanda's story, please let me know and I will add you to the list.
