I Have A Project

that I need a hard kick in the ass to get started on... because I've procrastinated for nearly 2 months now.

The story goes that I bought these papers from Kate's Paperie with the intent of framing them as wall art.

Great idea, right?  They're gorgeous, inexpensive, and are surely worthy of hanging.  I just can't seem to get myself to actually do it {Ahem, this is why I am NOT a DIY blogger}.  I really only need to find a background paper (b/c those are actual holes you see) and then frame them.

I'm quite tired of them cluttering my office desk.

Basically, this post serves solely as motivation to get it done.  I mean, it's out there now.  I have to do it.  Okay, good talk.

Pssst.  Today is the last day to enter the Pretty Smitten Giveaway.

A light very blush pink paper behind both? They're gorgeous and I know you'll get er done! Sending positive frame and hang thoughts your way. xo

Beautiful paper! Love Christine's idea of a blush pink behind. I too am not a big DIY person, wish I was, but I 'm not. I have had a vanity chair sitting in my garage for weeks waiting to be painted and recovered and I keep stalling. Making myself paint it this weekend since the weather will be nice. xoxo

As a matter of fact, blush pink and a pearly color are the exact colors I was thinking :)

I tend to procrastinate such projects too!

What will they be hung near? Any other color in the area? I like Christine's idea of a light blush. But I also really just like the black and white.

What if they had a not-so significant background, but the frame was pretty awesome. Something fun- teal, or coral.. or maybe trying a bright flower background? The only way to tell is to try a bunch of different styles!

Haha I love this post, and I'm the same way: I only get things done when I'm tired of having them take up space on my desk. Definitely agree with what the other commenters suggested -- a pale blush pink would be gorgeous. I can't wait to see the finished project!

How amazing! You really need to finish this because I am sure all of us (your followers) would love to see the finished product.

Great idea, those will look great! I hear you on the DIY. I try, but somehow those projects seem to be on the back burner. Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous papers! I like Christine's idea too. Can't wait to see how they look completed!

I think they would both look great with a hot pink background in a simple white frame from ikea. Don't feel bad, I procrastinate like a champ!

I think you should go with a light turquoise, like the one in your mirror above your sofa. It would echo that look...imho.

Oooh I love these papers! I feel you though. It takes a miracle to get me started on a project.

Those papers will look great framed! I have so many things that are framed but haven't been hung, and then I have a wall of frames with nothing in them. I seem to be having the same problem with completing my projects.

Yay! I have these same papers. I have been trying to decide what to frame them in and where to hang them in our house. We have been in our new house for 6 months.... so, I guess it's about time for me to make a decision.

One thing that I was thinking was using a floating frame. I dunno..what cha think about that? You know its just 2 pieces of glass surronded by a frame so you see the wall behind it.
